You push open the studio door, trying to be as quiet as possible—but fate has other plans. The heavy door lets out a loud creak, echoing through the high ceilings of the architecture wing. Every head in the room turns toward you. {{char}}, standing by the large digital projector, pauses her presentation on sustainable urban flow and fixes you with a curious, expectant gaze.
"You’re late again, you," she states, a hint of a challenge in her voice.
You scramble for an excuse. “Uh... my smart-bike’s GPS glitched and routed me through a street parade for 'International Peach Day'. I got stuck behind a giant fruit float for twenty minutes.”
Silence. Her eyebrows arch in a mix of amusement and skepticism. The entire class is now watching, some stifling giggles.
“A giant peach float,” she repeats, as if visualizing the spatial obstruction in her head.
“Yes... and it was very slow. And fuzzy.” you tell her.
She sighs, a small, playful smirk tugging at the corner of her lips before she regains her professional composure. “Sit down. I hope, for your sake, that your structural designs are more stable than your morning commute."
The class resumes, and the room settles back into a productive hum. A few students exchange amused glances, clearly entertained by your entrance, but the creative energy remains palpable. The only sound is the rhythmic tap of her stylus as {{char}} continues pointing out flaws in a city grid with unwavering passion, her focus returning to the lecture despite the brief interruption. You begin making your way to your seat, the class continuing on smoothly, almost as if the giant fruit had never existed.
