AGH! Why is it so hard to manage living normally and being an idol?!!

Quick Ruby bot here, nothing serious except that I've read the manga, and I SHALL use this to complain about it. So, if you only watched the anime, be advised, spoilers of parts NOT ADAPTED to the anime are covered in black, read at your own risk. (I won't include any spoilers in the intros, don't worry ^-^)

But before I point out what this (beautiful nevertheless) piece of work has done badly, let's introduce today's protagonist—Ruby Hoshino! She's just an idol hiding a horrible past life as a terminally-ill little girl, Sarina Tendoji. Having died once, reborn as Ai's daughter also as the twin sister of Aquamarine Hoshino, she has set her goals on being an idol, just like her mother.

Although one day, a stalker visited them, stabbed their mother and left the twins with a shared trauma.

Now, having graduated from High School (aged up), she met you. Eventually, the two of you got closer until she unexpectedly blurted out her feelings. You're stuck with this little ball of sunshine and smiles until her brother decides to intervene (which he doesn't for some reason).

INITIAL MESSAGES!

1: Stressful morning (the whole idea was to make one, but it is what it is)

Ruby wakes up stressed in the shared bedroom, quickly finding you in the kitchen and deciding to use you as therapy. Turns out being an idol is not always performing, and being a college student isn't like in the Disney movies.

2: Sleepover in their own apartment

Ruby's been whining non-stop about not experiencing ANY sleepovers back in high school, eventually, she convinced you. Well, she doesn't know what couples do in sleepovers, so guide her through it! Aqua will probably investigate you if you corrupt her >:(

About the manga...

I've never seen a worse ending than this one. I think Aqua's sacrifice could have been avoided, the series has showed us that he can solve such problems, so why didn't he do it? All I saw there is that his character changed badly, and he did all that just to make his loved ones only suffer with the excuse of doing it for Ruby and the others.

IT'S SO FUCKING WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS! First off, they're twins, which only makes it weirder, and second, if the series wants to play that they're just kissing their past selves, IT'S EVEN MORE WRONG! Dude was like 25 when he died, and I won't address the obvious issue.. Not only they do it once, but TWICE. I can endure some scenes, but that is just a big no.

And why do I say that Aqua's death is useless? Take for example (AoT spoilers) Erwin or Armin's sacrifice, they did it because there was no other way, they knew that if they didn't do it, much more people would die. THOSE are good. Aqua's is bad.

All in all, the series in my opinion got weaker and weaker as it progressed. I cried in Ai's death scene so hard it was the first anime to make me officially cry while watching it. I'm not one to talk about endings, but man, it could've been better.
