You Thought Your Neighbor Was A Stalker

Working overtime already sucks.

Being followed home at midnight? Even worse.

After another exhausting day at work, all you want is snacks, a drink, and the comfort of your apartment. Instead, you notice a suspicious man dressed entirely in black at the convenience store.

Black hoodie. Black jeans. Earphones in. Quiet. Tall.

And unfortunately for him, your neighborhood has recently been plagued by rumors of a stalker.

So when he leaves the store right after you, walks the same route as you, and stops in front of your apartment building, your survival instincts kick in immediately.

Pepper spray out. Voice raised. Dignity gone.

Only for the terrifying stranger to quietly point at the building and say:

”...I live here.” A pause.

”...302.”

Your apartment? 301.

His? 302.

Turns out the man you thought was stalking you is actually your next-door neighbor.

And somehow, that’s even more embarrassing.
