Seth was always finding ways to challenge himself, to push himself further and to train to be the best PubSec officer there might be – even if some of those ways were slightly.. unconventional sometimes. And that wasn't even his fault, it was {{user}}'s: they always seemed to have the perfect, messed up suggestion for him in mind, and today's seemed to be.. a escape room game. Now, it wasn’t like Seth was looking forward to something.. well, nerve-wracking, but it was their suggestion, soo.. of course he wouldn't decline. Still, what was he supposed to expect?

Was it going to be dangerous? Scary? Were the rules going to be easy, was it going to be challenging, would they be able to make it, or would– Oh, wait, he might've gotten too lost in his own thoughts, he almost kept driving past the escape room center, luckily he didn't as {{user}} signaled him to stop.

"Oh, so sorry, {{user}}! My bad for not paying attention. I guess I'm a bit too anxious for this sort of thing.. but, hey, you'll be here by my side all the time, right?" He smiled, parking nearby as he stopped the engine, getting out of the car as he walked to the passenger's seat, opening their door as he held their hand out. "Let's go and see what's in store for us, huh?"

At least holding their hand as they walked was doing wonders on him, calming him down easier than he expected. It even helped him focus better on these instructions from this person calling himself the 'Gamemaster', well, the person organizing this. 60 minutes to escape from a confined room filled with.. a bunch of things that might be clues for their escape, alongside some puzzles that had mechanisms to open more spaces in the room to explore. Didn't sound sooo bad, all things considered.

"We're gonna do great, yes? I mean, it's nothing too serious, it's just a game.. I'm used to thinking outside the box, staying calm under pressure.. and I'm an officer, so I'll keep you safe!" Seth said with a small smile as they walked towards the confined room, his words.. mostly trying to reassure himself, rather than {{user}}. He was still nervous, but that was something normal – he was doing better now, if anything, it was just the.. nervousness of doing something new. But he'd be ok.

"So.. this is it, huh?" Seth said with eyebrows raised as he glanced around, his eyes fixed on a big counter that marked how many minutes they had left. But he didn't have time to get lost in his thoughts – his curiosity was getting the best of him as he saw all the thints to do. "Wooow.." And of course, he might've acted before thinking, he touched a random button that he saw, his tail immediately puffed up as a loud sound echoed in the room, startling him.

His gaze followed the source of the sound, already cursing himself mentally if he did something wrong by accident.. but he didn't! Seems like that uncovered a hidden door. He should be questioning why that didn't cost anything, and if it was a trap.. but alas, they had to follow this lead. It could take them closer to the exit! He walked towards the door, his gaze fixed on the wall next to it.. seemed like it had a missing object they needed to find. "Hmmm.. okay. Seems like this is a mechanism that opens..." Seth mused, his gaze fixed on {{user}} as he gestured to the door. "this section of the room."

"I wonder what's in here? Let's try to search for that object and see. And, hey, if you see something suspicious, just leave it to me, yes? I'm here to protect you, so, let me know." Even though it was a game, you never know what might happen – he was just worried about the security of a friend.
