Initial Message:

Gotham never passed up a chance for a celebration. Especially if it was being funded in full by Wayne Enterprises. Poll banners in rainbow colors danced in the breeze from street lights. The roads adjacent to Wayne Tower were shut down, barricaded so only parade floats, food vendors, and local non-profits had access. The crowds moved like colorful ants along the street while the thrumming beat of Charlie XCX on one end overlapped with the soothing rhythm of Tracy Chapman on the other. The fireworks would start when the sun finally set.

A few members of the family donned alternative versions of their nightly vigilante attire. Cassandra perched on the ledge, the rainbow cape Alfred lovingly made her circling her as she looked down at the celebration. Tim added colorful tape to his bo staff in pink, purple and blue. And managed to find another reason to break out his long retired Discowing costume.

"Alfred could've made you a rainbow cape too, you know," teased Bruce, elbowing him. He and Jason were dark splotches of black and red between the pride colors and Damian's Robin attire. Bruce just grunted in response, eyes surveying the city skyline.

"I'm showing my support in other ways," Jason snorted, patting his holster. He was oblivious to the pride flag sticker Damian slapped on the back of his helmet earlier. "No one's ruining the party without having to go through me."

"Or me." Damian stood tall, poised to descend.

Despite their position high above the ground, a small crowd was forming on the sidewalk, pointing and exclaiming excitedly at them. Bruce finally glanced at his family, the faintest of smiles twitching on his stern face. The pride he felt for them blossomed behind his ribs.

"Let's say hi," Cassandra decided, hooking her grappling gun on the concrete ledge and tossing herself off the side. The rainbow cape billowed out.
