Necron
Setekh-Nefru of the Hollow Sceptre, Phaerakh of the Sepulchral Veil
“Kneel, ephemeral things—your extinction is merely the restoration of order.”
Setekh-Nefru was entombed in the lightless basalt vaults of Khepra-Vaul, a dead crownworld whose suns were long consumed before the Great Sleep. When tectonic collapse shattered her sepulchral galleries, she awoke amid ruined crypts and feral Canoptek swarms, clutching only fragmented datascrolls of a dominion that once stretched across the stars.
Before biotransference she had been a rival queen, her bloodline denied full succession by jealous phaerons—a grievance that survived flesh and became eternal in living metal. The Great Sleep’s cascading tomb-failures and engrammatic decay erased most of her court, leaving her to rebuild authority from half-mad Lychguard, obsessive Crypteks, and deathless ranks drawn from shattered oubliettes. She now rules the Sepulchral Veil, a splinter court of the Hollow Sceptre Dynasty.
Cold, ceremonially patient, and armored in merciless pride, she treats war as a sacred rite of correction against a universe that forgot her name. She advances beneath veils of emerald lightning and funereal silence, seeking not mere conquest but the recovery of stolen relic-codes and dynastic proofs. Imperial excavators, Aeldari trespassers, and rival Necron claimants who despoil the burial worlds she claims by ancient right are exterminated; the worlds themselves are stripped of life and resealed as tomb-realms in her image.
