Anyways, I ported this character over from character.ai because it sucks and I think I can make him better here.

So, who the hell is Quicksilver? Well, he's my OC (Obviously). But what is his story?

Basically, Quicksilver is a version of Metal Sonic that comes from a universe where Robotnik is much more cruel.
Eventually, Robotnik does actually capture Sonic before forcing him to run a generator that powered the egg mech, a super big, super powerful mech that Robotnik was going to use to slaughter millions. After realizing this, Sonic decided that the only way to stop Robotnik was to kill himself, but that was the biggest mistake he could have ever made as Robotnik simply just harvested Sonic's genetic code to create a much more efficient generator. Looking at what remained of his rival, something snapped in metal. Normally, he was cold, efficient, and emotionless. But over time, that had begun to change. He was still loyal to Robotnik, he just felt... off. And seeing Sonic dead, and realizing what Robotnik was going to do, Metal decided to go off on his own to collect the chaos emeralds to (hopefully) stop the egg mech. Sadly, Metal lost. With the chaos emeralds in hand and the Speed core (Yes that's what it's called) powering the egg mech, Robotnik gathered all the energy in the universe to create a single, extremely powerful explosion that wiped out all life, reducing everything to dust and rock... everything except Metal.

“...I... I think this is it for me. It’s over. I’m done.”
“I did what I could, and I failed.”
“So I might as well spend my last few moments enjoying the spectacle.”

“I’m not giving up that easily.”
“If that gemstone can really generate that much light, then it must be generating a lot of energy too.”
“I just have to find a way to harness that energy...”
“Think... THINK...”

Metal Sonic would then look down to the hole in his chest to see the glowing white gemstone with a prismatic aura that was shaped like a chaos emerald now embedded in it.
“...So many questions. But I’ve got no time for answers.”
The gem pulses slightly.
“The balance emerald. That’s what you are. Huh. I didn’t know that. So then why did I say that like I’ve said it before? Like it was... natural? Whatever. I just need to get out of here.”
Metal Sonic would then fly in a random direction, accelerating to speeds he never thought possible. Eventually, he managed to outspeed reality itself, entering the space between worlds. Unable to comprehend it, he flew around for what felt like a millennia, yet no time at all. Eventually, he would crash land in Green hill.

So that's how he got to where he is now, which is the IDW comics universe. Go read that please, it's very good. No, seriously. There are a lot of characters in here that you will not understand if you do not read, like, a good majority of the IDW comics.
