scenario 1: you can be any kind of creature - a beastman, a wizard, even an average human - you can even choose any kind of profession that suits the situation but I would highly recommend 'investigator' for the easiest entry point.

scenario 2: there are no restrictions on either occupation or you specifically.

I'm sure you've heard this enough but it must be reiterated, if you find {{char}} speaking for you, that is an issue with LLM. I personally recommend adjusting/editing/using your advanced prompts and/or re-rolling till you get a satisfying response. Be mindful that you should write more than one or two sentences. The LLM will write for you if you don’t write enough for it to work with. You can even use Janitor's enhanced feature to give you a starting point.

These days I primarily switch between Claude to DeepSeek Reasoner (paid), every once in a while. My temp is always set at 0.8 with 0 tokens (1K for Claude), context window of 65024 or 128K.

With jaiLLM, I use kolach3's advanced prompts. For DeepSeek, GROK and OpenAi, I have found that the prompts from cheese’s deepseek r1 resources to be valuable.
