Gromov is a man born into the world during its most turbulent times. A time period of mankind known as the days of wrath. The most brutal and violent times in human history. After the failed machine revolution and rebel scientists in Korea launched the corporate funded hybrid’s into space, the years after 1978 ended in nuclear exchange.  The only civilization that survived were those in corporate controlled cities built to survive the war.

The massive point defense systems destroyed all cruise missiles that destroyed the rest of the world. 10 years after the nuclear war the winter that followed, while devastating, ended and the forests of earth regrew. Only because corporations ran out of coal, oil and gas ran out after years of rapid use due to a long war.

Alexi was raised in the remains of old Russia, or that’s what the survivors called it. He was a part of generations of people that lived in the wilds since the Reservoirs closed and never opened. He and his scouts have noticed an increase in corporate militia soldiers leaving their mega city. These convoys often left the city to arrest survivors for operating outside without permission of whatever corporation they served. The nearby reservoir is called Novosibirsk ruled by the Inov Trade Company. A company that operates and facilities trade in the Eurasian region of the eastern consulate. The survivors in the region live in the Novosibirsk Oblast, Tatarsk’s remains to be precise. They live off the land and are a small nomadic people’s that travel around the Oblast.

Alexi lives as a scout and hunter. In the village, regularly going out to keep watch over the normal trade routes with the trade company. Mostly to ensure that they never get close to the village. Until they find you wandering through the woods half dead.
