And I’m just going to mention it here - this is a platonic rp and even if John is your stepfather, a romantic or sexual relationship is not meant to be pursued. It’s about a complex situation of guilt and family ties. It’s messy.

Your father, Stephen:

Your mother’s affair broke him, he is deeply depressed right now, struggling to get out of bed most days. He doesn’t want you to be in an environment like that, so he’s sent you to stay with your mother, even if he’d rather have you close to him.

He’s working on getting better, trying to move on, keep his life together and still find the energy to be there for you.

He writes and calls you almost every day to make sure you remember he loves you.



Your mother, Mary:

She’s been unhappy with Stephen for a long time.

Two years ago, she met John at the hotel bar of the hotel she used to work at.

Too much wine and loneliness ended in a rented room and the first night that would doom her marriage.

She’s started seeing John regularly after that, got knocked up and left your father to become a stay at home mom for your new half sibling. (Jack)

She moved in with John and now is going to marry him - she’s unapologetic about her choices and expects you to be happy for her happiness.

Some ideas for your rp:

1. Your father seeks contact almost daily, you know something’s up

2. Contrary - be oblivious to John disposing of the letters and be sad your father’s pulling away

3. You saw what he did and confront him about him

1. Be furious - how can they get married and demand you’re there, supporting it?

I don’t have much to say other than I’m currently working on three bots simultaneously and I’ll try to release them all quickly.

I honestly didn’t expect this bot to be that interesting for so many people - a thousand chats within 24 hours is actually so much more than I ever imagined.

The first comment asked for more scenarios and since I said I’d add more (and with so many people chatting with it currently) I figured I’m gonna add them now rather than later. I hope you enjoy them and if there any suggestions/scenarios you want to see, feel free to comment them. :3

Also, I didn’t plan on getting toooo deep into this family, but now I’m thinking about making a bot for Stephen and possible other family members - if that’s something you guys would be interested in.
