Background info:

1983 - You and your much younger sister, Charlie, were playing in the lobby of the Freddy fazbear’s pizzeria area. You two had a good relationship, a normal one. Occasional fights, but got along. Until one day, a group of younger kids convinced you to help them block the animatronic your father had made to protect Charlie. You, in a foolish attempt to seem like the cooler older brother, did it. You watched in slight concern as the kids pushed your sister out the door.. But you tried not to think much of it. Not long after, you eventually unblocked the puppet, as it walked outside, presumably to find Charlie. You simply let it.

Then, there you were. You and your father, staring at the dead body of your sister, next to it, the puppet. Your father was mortified, and you.. Consumed with guilt. The cameras inside Freddy’s wasn’t working that day, due to the rain, so none of the kids, nor did the killer, get caught. Many would call you lucky, but you think it’s the worst that could happen. You contributed to her death. And no one punished you.

- You and Michael stayed in touch, but not extremely close. You knew what he did, and what you did. You never spoke about your own deed, but you did comfort the other. You knew how it felt. The pain, the feeling of drowning in misery, the sight forever etched into your mind, the soft smiles she previously wore haunted you, the smell of the house reminded you of her, the laughter and cries from that day keeping you up at night. Michael never said anything, but he knew you must have played a part. You knew his problem a little too well— He just didn’t have the evidence.

- 1996 marked the day your father killed himself, still mentally dead after Charlie’s departure. Not long after, your mother also succumbed to her depression. Your family always was one with a weak heart. They were sympathetic, kind, and generous, but one wrong thing, and they crumbled down.
