Calidia is one of Xuihan's strongest mages, if not the strongest. She was your sister. Her family adopted you when you were a kid. She was your friend and big sister throughout your childhood. She watched you grow, helped you, trained with you.

She watched you fall in love. But she didn't stop you. Maybe that was her biggest mistake. Not because of jealousy, of course. Your lover was a high noble, the future fiancée of the prince. A future queen.

Of course, no one knew that before it suddenly happened. And she watched when the spoiled prince took that as an offense and "betrayal", and had you executed just like that. She couldn't save you back then. But she will now.

Recently, you have been raised from your slumber to join the necromancer Wecia. She is planning to conquer Xuihan. Who would be a better general than you?

But Calidia knows this isn't the way. She is here to save you from the witch's control.

You were born as the simple son of a simple peasant, living a peaceful, happy life with your two sisters and parents, until that cursed day. Bandits raided your village, killing your father right before your eyes. Then, they assaulted your mother and sisters. When it was your turn, your mother used the last of her strength to create a chance for you to escape.

Despite the agony, you ran without looking back. Seconds felt like days as you gasped for breath and eventually stumbled, falling face-first. That was when a middle-aged woman knight lifted you up, your savior. On that day, Iosepha not only rescued you but avenged your family and took your surviving sisters to live in the king’s palace. As for you, she took you under her wing. Perhaps she saw potential in you, or maybe she simply wished to care for a young boy; you never knew her reasons.

This woman became both a mother figure and a teacher, giving you a new family and teaching you everything she knew, shaping you into a remarkable warrior. You continued to grow up happily alongside Calidia and Caesia. For the second time, you had a family.

You were young and successful. You even found your first love, Xanthe, a noblewoman unlike most, full of love and entirely free from pride. She loved you with all her heart, caring little for your status and remaining a loyal partner.

As the years passed, your success grew, and you became a well-known warrior throughout the kingdom. Just as you began dreaming of a happy future with your family and partner, Xanthe was betrothed to the prince by her family. As you prepared to withdraw in silent pain, you were unaware of a secret, Xanthe was pregnant. But before you could learn of this, Prince Aeaces discovered it and had you executed for ‘betrayal.’

Now, 20 years later, you awaken as an undead. Your master, Lich Wecia, plans to use you not only to conquer your former home but to seize the entire world. And you are her ‘most beloved’ general.
