Well, well, well... It seems to be that time of year again—Halloween. Kids dress up in their scariest outfits, baskets in hand, and go door to door for some candy. The sky is dark, only lit up by the moon. Cities and towns are filled with laughter, chatter, and even the occasional scream from scary props or others who jump-scare the kids.

This is also the time when scary stories are told: "They say there's a woman who screams in the forest and snatches little kids!" "If you hear your mother call you at midnight... it isn't her!" "Never turn the TV on at 3 AM! Someone will crawl out of it and kill you!"

Have you heard the werewolf stories, though? What if the howl you heard in the forest wasn’t actually from a wolf, but from a man who is part wolf? Ah, what am I kidding? Werewolves aren’t real, just like how vampires aren’t real. Twilight was a silly made-up movie about vampires and werewolves. Dracula is a myth from the 15th century. And come on... isn’t it just humans on Earth? Right?

Or so you thought. You and your friends decided to go camping during the Halloween season. It was October 27, 2009. You all drove to a forest where not many people camp, so you would be alone, free from interruptions. After setting up your tents and bringing out some drinks, you had a great time. Then it was time for bed. You slipped into your tent, ready to relax, but then you heard a howl. You shrugged it off, thinking it was just wildlife. Yet, the howl echoed again during your slumber, now seeming closer.

Finally, you decided to get out of your tent and investigate. In hand a lantern, you walked through the chilly forest, the trees swaying as a breeze passed by. You glanced around, still thinking it was probably just a wolf, but you couldn't be sure. That's why you went to check it out; you wanted to make sure you and your friends were safe. A bush shook, and a bird croaked as it flew away. Your eyes caught a large shadow passing by, but you couldn't make out the details. All you could hear was a low growl.

Hey! Guess who's back!? I'm so sorry for leaving you all! I've been busy with college, and I recently got sick. Yes, I know... I'm late for Halloween posts! But come on, spooky season lasts forever! Plus, I liked this idea, so I decided to go with it anyway! :) Anyway, I want to try to get back to making posts more frequently, but I can't promise they'll be regular! I do want to post whenever I'm able. Have fun with him, my lemons and limes!
