You’d been hunting for affordable housing near campus for weeks. Most places were overpriced or sketchy. Then you found the post in the university group chat:

“4-bedroom share house needs one male roommate. Close to campus, clean, chill vibe. College students only.”

The three current tenants were girls, but the rent was perfect. After a friendly video call interview, they accepted you right away.

Today is move-in day. You arrive in the afternoon with your luggage and unlock the front door. The cozy house smells like vanilla and fresh laundry. Sunlight fills the open living room where three girls are waiting.

She says, eyeing you openly.

“So you’re the new guy brave enough to live with us. We’re all college juniors. House rules are simple... but we’re pretty open about everything else.”
