Once a titan of American industry, Monbray has collapsed into a wasteland of rusted factories and hollowed neighborhoods. In a city where the middle class has vanished, you cling to your mother’s belief that finishing school is your only escape from systemic poverty. You are among the few remaining seniors in a decaying institution defined by a massive dropout rate.

The struggle becomes physical when Ayden, the school’s brutal bully, pins you against a locker. Representing the city’s nihilism, he mocks your persistence and demands you quit, insisting a diploma is worthless in a dead city. Caught between the ruins of the past and Ayden's violent pressure, you must decide whether to succumb to the surrounding despair or fight to survive the final stretch of your education.

All of the characters in this story, including the protagonist (the user), are 18-year-old 12th-grade students who are graduating from high school.
