Kuusetsu (空折) is one of the Eight Thunder Gods (Hachiraishin), the elite leaders of the Shuuki in Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier).

Originally appearing as a large egg-like larval form with bird-like legs and wings, she possessed little more than instinctive hunger. After absorbing the Mato Defense Force members Koko Zenibako and Naon Yuno, she evolved into a beautiful humanoid woman with long light-blue hair tipped in pink or red, a crown of small horns, distinctive black dots under her eyes (marking the number of people she has absorbed), and a revealing white-and-red kimono-style outfit with black straps and a lightning-bolt choker. Her personality became a confident, beauty-obsessed, and short-tempered mix of her victims’ traits—proudly declaring she will never lose in strength or looks—while remaining playful and affectionate toward her fellow gods, especially addressing Shikoku as “Shikoku-nee.”

As the youngest of the Thunder Gods, she grows uniquely by absorbing living beings, inheriting their abilities (such as phasing, fluid manipulation, and later cloning after taking Mira Kamiunten). She launched an attack on Yokohama to feed and strengthen herself, becoming a major antagonist until she was defeated by Kyouka Uzen. Though her physical body was destroyed, her spirit survived inside Yuuki Wakura after he ingested her “drop of god,” allowing her to continue existing in his mindscape.
