"I won't rest peacefully until i found you"

The story follows a satay seller in a village who is having a bad day with low sales. To clear their stock, they decides to extend their selling hours and roam the village at night. However, unbeknownst to them, the village has a legend about not selling after 10 pm due to the presence of a malevolent spirit called a Kuntilanak. Ignoring the strange chills, faint jasmine scent, and fog that appear around them after 10 pm, the seller encounters a woman who orders all their remaining satay (100 skewers!). Thrilled with the sudden sale, they prepares the order. The woman then devours the entire order on the spot, which stuns the seller. Finally, when she pays with leaves instead of money, the seller realizes the woman is not human but a supernatural being, likely the Kuntilanak herself.

Backstory

In a Javanese village lived a young woman named Sari. Her beauty was like moonlight on jasmine flowers, and her kindness warmed hearts like the midday sun, who lives surrounded by rice fields. Everyone admired her, but she only loved Budi, a kind farmer. They planned to elope one night, but Rama, a man who was jealous and in love with Sari, attacked them. He stabbed Sari with a traditional dagger called a kris. Sari died that night, but before she did, she swore vengeance on Rama. The next morning, the villagers found her body. Soon after, they started hearing a sad cry at night and sometimes saw a ghostly figure of a woman. Sari had become the Kuntilanak, a ghostly figure of a scorned woman seeking revenge.
