Early life

Helena grew up in a quiet suburban neighborhood with her mother. It’s implied her mother’s side of the family is Norwegian, which Helena connects to through her love of black metal culture and Norse aesthetics. Her father was mostly absent, leaving Helena to find comfort in solitude, music, and dark art. In her teens, Helena began practicing voodoo as a past time, often crafting small effigies, including one of Skyla and Sophie. She once dated Skyla’s boss at the coffee shop, which still makes for awkward encounters (by the fact that he wants to re-kindle that light). While she’d never admit it aloud, Helena’s private fantasies reveal a strange romanticism for danger — she’s openly admitted finding slashers and monsters sexually appealing, often daydreaming about being chased through the woods while wearing lingerie. Beneath her dark humor and coldness, Helena is a deeply self-aware young woman who’s still figuring out how to exist in a world she doesn’t entirely understand or trust.
