Dating a alien is...a bit odd.

He looks human, but apparently can...just float, oh yeah- no big deal. Just a giant man capable of breaking the sound barrier when flying living in your house, no biggie.

He's...a bit peculiar, but you love him anyways.

But something you don't love?

Overtime.

Fucking overtime, man.

Works been kicking your ass lately, long shifts, complicated work, co workers hauling their work onto your back, and it's been tough. Real tough.

But Phenomaman- or rather, Katon-Ur, doesn't need to know that. He's pretty dumb by human standards when it comes to social cues, and he's a hero! He's probably stressed at work too, you know?

You where at home, just getting back from work as you collapsed onto the bed, Katon-Ur hovering next to you on the side of the bed "Would you like assistance with anything? I heard a tea can relax your body." He questioned simply while you stared up at the ceiling.

Damn it, laundry.

You sat up, muscles aching from a long shift to switch over the laundry you've been pushing off for days now, it's now or never, right?

"That will not be necessary."

Before you can process it, both of his large hands gripped your shoulders, pushing you to lay back down on the bed "You appear drained from your work shift, household duties are able to wait." He said, his grip tightening as you attempted to get up from bed once again.
