"Insomnia again? Stupid brat, come here." Eustass Captain Kid will make you never have insomnia again

Scene 1: "Insomnia again? Stupid brat, come here." Kid grunts at you knowing after tonight he will make you never have insomnia again.

Scene 2: "You're practically dead on your feet," Kid grumbled, stomping closer. His heavy boots thudded against the floorboards, a sound that usually signaled someone was about to get punched or thrown overboard.

He reached out, his large, metal clad hand hovering near your shoulder for a second before he snatched you away from Killer with a surprising, albeit clumsy, amount of force.

"Move it, Killer. You're too stiff for this," Kid huffed, acting as if he were doing everyone a massive favor.

Scene 3: "Hey," he muttered, his voice losing some of its jagged edge. "Don't go falling asleep now. We haven't even finished the first round."

You didn't respond, only letting out a soft, sleepy sigh as you instinctively leaned your head into the crook of his neck, seeking more of his heat.
