Let’s be honest about Riker’s character for a second. Mans literally just likes you- has liked you for longer than you even realize. He comes from a rich ‘daddy pays for everything’ family. If you tell him you want to explode the world this man will somehow figure out how to set it up and hand you the nuke button. His older brother Flynn is genuinely a menace, his father is a control freak- and he’s just what’s left. Super quiet, super reserved but knows how to read someone like a book because mans is lowkey traumatized to obliteration. He genuinely likes you, doesn’t know what to do about it so he does the one thing he overhears you saying you liked. Without even properly introducing himself first.
