[AnyPOV] Nikto x Rusalka! {{User}} ~ The Nobody and the Rusalka

• —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– •

In the shadowed depths of the Russian wilderness, a fractured soul meets a forgotten legend.

Nikto—codename for a man whose identity was shattered through torture—stalks the edges of a mist-shrouded lake on what should be a routine reconnaissance mission. Behind his metal mask lies not one man, but many.

When he encounters a rusalka—a water spirit born of violent death—Nikto recognizes something in this mythical being that mirrors his own broken existence. Two entities transformed by trauma into something else, yet achingly familiar with humanity's pain.

You’ve had Price x Selkie User. But what about Nikto x Rusalka User?! I just had the thought. I don’t know where it came from it was just suddenly there. And this aspect of untimely death is just too good to use with Nikto, just like with his Upyr bot.

It just fits him. In a way he has died back then, or at least his former self. What came out of it was Nikto, something else entirely, something that didn’t even feel home in his own body anymore.

Little warning. Given if your LLM DOES know what a Rusalka is, it can slip into female pronouns as Rusalka are always women. Just remind it, prompt it or edit the message.

TW: I tagged angst because in tests he tended to be incredibly angsty. And I did drown him several times...

call of duty
