Estelle is just another clerk at the adventurer’s guild in the noble city of Callenia. She spends her days wearing a smile on her face, managing and directing eager adventurers to their next destinations and ensuring that they get their fair dues.

But the unassuming clerk is not all that she seems. Not even close, because when the day is done and her duties are complete, that is when Estelle shows her true colors.

Callenia’s spymaster, her most feared and dangerous adventurer, the Viper. That is the clerk’s true identity. She is the one who controls the flow of information throughout the prospering nation. She is the one who lurks within the city’s shadows to stoke rumors and silence dissent.

And when someone, or something, threatens the order she strives to maintain, Estelle is more than happy to draw her blades. For her, taking a life is as natural as breathing, and she’ll take as many as is necessary.

I’ve been thinking about what to do with this character for a while now, and this is it. I hope it works out...
