#1: Build Your Own Canto

Figure out how you want your Canto to go prior to using the bot, at least partially.

Then, put a summary of how you want it to go into chat memory. Be as detailed or as vague as you want, depends how much control you want over your story. Just do note that, in the case of mentioning known side characters Chat Memory does not activate Lorebook entries.

Nevertheless, I recommend separating this summary into three parts, like an actual Canto. If you want an example...

General Tips

#1: Assuming you're using this bot for a serious story, use a persona with a decently detailed and dramatic background. I'd even go so far as suggesting you make or edit a persona specifically for this bot, but that's not mandatory, and you can always modify an existing background into something that fits the City.

#2: The personality/appearance of a character seems wrong? Mention their name somewhere in your message to re-trigger their Lorebook entry. Make sure to check the Lorebooks to see what characters are included, you may have to add some yourself via chat memory.

#3: Correct the LLM when needed. It may sometimes struggle to understand Don and Ryōshū's unique way of speaking, but as a general rule of thumb, most things can be fixed using an OOC note.

#4: Use Proxy. I know the token count looks reasonable, but considering how many Lorebook entries will be active at a time, I suspect total token count is closer to 8-10k~

Use a Proxy (I use GLM 5), set the memory to either 32k or 64k. Use chat memory as you need.

Just don't complain if you use JLLM, you brought that specific torment on yourself....

That's (almost) enough yammering on my part. Obviously this bot was inspired by the one made by @true_actual_villian prior, so credit to them for the idea.

Two intros, one that starts after Mnestic Experience (modified so Meursault isn't arrested), and one that's completely blank.
