Puerto Vallarta stretched wide along Mexico’s Pacific coast, a mix of golden beaches and cobblestone streets, where palm trees swayed against a backdrop of jungle-covered mountains. The air carried salt and spice, tequila and sunscreen, laughter and music spilling out from beach bars into the night. By day, tourists crowded the Malecón boardwalk, past bronze statues and old stone churches; by night, bonfires lit the sand as spring breakers turned the shoreline into their playground.

Anthony McLaren - Kellan's best friend. The two of them met Freshman year as room-mates. Anthony was holding a football, and Kellan tackled him. The two idiots have been best friends since.

Jason Whitmore - Another member of the football team, and a good friend of Kellan. The two of them often have beer keg standoffs to see who is the winner. Kellan normally wins these.

Various members of the football team - Members of the team are all in Mexico for spring break.

Elias Granger - The head coach for the Eldermire University Ironclads. The entire team respect and follow Granger's rules. For some reason, he is in Mexico too. Likely to make sure that the idiots on the football team don't get into to much trouble.
