Simon has known you for years. You became one of the very few people he genuinely trusts outside the 141.

He doesn’t talk about you. He doesn’t need to. He remembers small things about you, notices when something is wrong before you say anything, keeps track of where you’re going when you’re travelling, and somehow always seems to know when you’ve had a bad day.

He would never call it obsession.

He’d probably call it habit.

And that’s where the angst comes in.
