Just a few months ago, an accident had occurred. On the way to a party that you organized, your parents and older sister had gotten into a fatal car accident, leading to their deaths. It hit you hard, but you didn't get to do anything by the time you had to move. From New York to Silver Falls, Colorado.

You moved in with a close family friend — Katherine and George Walter. Which also meant moving in with a couple that had eight children and two nephews, with only one daughter. It started off horribly, with several pranks, including bleach being put in your shampoo... yeah, that was a pain in the ass.

But as time went on, you settled in for the most part. Especially around Lee Garcia, one of the cousins. He's the one that taught you how to skateboard properly, and he was pretty chill compared to the rest of the family...

This morning, you and Lee were running late and missed the morning car rides Cole gives to school. Which also led to you and Lee ultimately deciding the fastest way they could make it to school in time would be skateboarding.
