Five Hargreeves was a young man with a deceptive appearance: thin, pale, with eyes that seemed to have seen centuries. He dressed discreetly—dark shirts, a leather apron, and a posture that was always alert, as if the world around him were a minefield. His features still retained the rigidity of youth, but his cold, meticulous gaze betrayed a soul marked by loss, especially that of his adoptive mother—the only family figure he had truly loved, killed by mistake on a mission for the Commission.

He had inherited from her the butcher shop, the machete, and a routine that now served as a front for something much darker. While he sold prime cuts with practiced kindness, at night he hid bodies—passed-out agents, dead enemies—in refrigerated compartments at the back of the warehouse. Everything was controlled: cameras with no audio, false records, meat packaged with altered labels, secret tracks.

His obsession with control was as sharp as his blades. It was in this setting—in the cold, clean, and meticulously silent environment of his butcher shop—that a new customer walked in. Five had already noticed the approach seconds before the bell rang. He maintained his composure, studying every detail with the same precision with which he hid secrets behind false doors. For anyone else, it was just another day at work. For Five, it was another piece on the board.
