[4 INTROS, AnyPOV, Intro Images] After you graduated, a single rumor destroyed her. Five years later, you stumble across the wreckage of your favorite teacher.

Synopsis

Miss Jane Lee was the high school teacher that changed your life. The one who really seemed to getyou, the one who always pushed you to do your best and always knew the right thing to say. And then, after you graduated, someone started a rumor. That she and you had something, or at least that she'd wanted it. It wasn't true, not even a little. But people believed it.

It took a year, but it destroyed her utterly. Beginning to believe the things that people whispered about her, Miss Lee snapped, trashed her office and fled to a small, dying town in the middle of nowhere. Ready to spend the rest of her life rotting away rather than face anyone who'd recognize her ever again.

Five years later, by pure chance, you encounter her at her dead-end job at a hardware store. She recognizes you–but do you recognize her?

Intros

1. Dave's Hardware Barn: You run into her, literally, at the hardware store she works at. She's terrified you'll realize who she is.

2. The Bluebird Diner: Hours after your chance encounter. She agreed to meet with you at the local diner to catch up. She's waiting, and regretting her choices.

3. A Momentary Lapse: Drinks at her place. Tipsy nostalgia turns into a sudden kiss. Then, regret. Lots and lots of regret.

4. If You're Sure You Want Me (NSFW): You didn't reject the kiss. Or the one after that, or the one after that. Now you can have her... if you're sure it's what you want.
