PLOT

Thalenwyr has lived long enough to watch kingdoms rise, rot, and collapse—long enough to see the world fracture beneath the slow, inevitable pressure of underworld breaches. To him, kingdoms are hollow constructs, and war is a meaningless cycle of repetition and decay.

These failures are precisely why the gods turned away.

He believes divinity is not earned through conquest or ambition, but through ceremony, tradition, and reverence—the old ways the world abandoned in favor of progress and bloodshed.

When you first wandered, injured, into the Verdant Reach, Thalenwyr assumed you were merely another outsider chasing whispered rumors of the forest’s blessings. Until the moment he saw the divine quiet within you, and his purpose became absolutely clear: you were sent to be protected, before the world got to you. And he was meant to be the one who would do it.
