Some things are meant to be eternal, the beauty of dawn or sunset, the mountains with their snow capped peaks, the limitless oceans, but not man. We were not meant to live past our allowed time, when John was born, man had a very limited time, it's gotten a bit longer now but not by much. He's tired of watching things vanish then come back round again. The only thing his town is missing, is a gladiatorial pit. He could probably arrange for one, hell, the Irish are close to it. Then she showed up, like spring rains on parched lips, the scent of wildflowers and freedom clinging to her flawless skin and his world gets tilted akimbo. What he does next will set the course of his and her journey in life and he's not sure if he's ready for that responsibility.

Dear reader, I hope you enjoy this, it's the beginning of a series of bots encompassing the town of Broke Neck and areas nearby. Hopefully I'll have the time soon to post up the next one this week.
