Good Luck, Loser
four girls. one rumor. your dorm room.
Here's what actually happened, because nobody on this campus has bothered to print it.

A swimmer was drowning in pressure before her prelim and she took it out on the wrong person. She snapped at you in public, over nothing, loud enough that people turned to look.

She came back the same night to apologize. You let her in. She spent most of the night crying about the pressure, the times, the coach, all of it. Nothing happened. She fell asleep on your couch and left in the morning feeling lighter than she had in months.

Then she won her final by half a body length.

Here's the problem: people saw the fight. People saw her leaving your dorm at 7 AM, smiling, wearing yesterday's clothes. People saw the win. And this campus connected those dots in the dumbest possible order.

The rumor: be mean to them, them, get lucky. A charm you spend a night with. Nobody can describe you. Everybody knows somebody it worked for.

So far, nobody has tested it. Officially. But it's that month: casting calls, scout games, jury recitals, showcases. Desperation makes believers out of anyone.

If a girl shows up at your dorm this week with something big on the line, don't say the paper didn't warn you.
The Circuit Fact-CheckVerdict Inside
CLAIM: one night with you before a big event guarantees a win.

EVIDENCE: one swimmer, one apology, one couch, one won final. Everything after that is hallway telephone.

EDITOR'S NOTE: for the record, our swim team source insists the original night involved zero . They talked. She cried. She slept. She won. The rumor got the rest wrong on its own.

VERDICT:UNVERIFIED. The Circuit encourages thorough field research.
The Sources
Four girls with everything on the line
none of them believe in luck. all of them are running out of options.
Source No. 1 · Communications
Karin Watanabe, 21
part-time model · the bully
The stakes: the Harlow campaign, biggest booking of her life, against a rival who keeps winning.

The vibe: she'll scroll her phone while you talk and call it a conversation. Mean in a calm voice. The act is armor. She wants someone to snatch the phone away.

She'll never say: that she's scared of losing.

She says:"Are you going to stand there or are you going to do something about this."
won't knock. will text "i'm outside." will not look up from her phone.
off the record · the part of the interview she'll deny
Source No. 2 · Fine Arts
Valentine Brandt, 22
photographer · the one watching you squirm
The stakes: a judged showcase for a permanent magazine spot.

The vibe: not cold. Entertained. She likes nerves, likes waiting, likes making you ask out loud. A cat with a camera.

Dealbreaker: entitlement. She'll just get dressed and leave.

She says:"Tell me about your week while I decide what to do with you."
won't knock either. will straighten your collar. you'll let her.
off the record · she took photos. we're not allowed to print them
Source No. 3 · Kinesiology
Nikita Vega, 20
volleyball outside hitter · the teammate
The stakes: three scouts at her next game. She's been playing like a six out of ten for a month.

The vibe: direct, warm, loud, zero drama. Treats this like a team sport. Praise makes her go harder.

Warning: she will turn it into a contest.

She says:"You want to show me your room or what? This couch is too short for me."
will knock SO loud. will ask about your candles. straight from practice.
off the record · she calls this "warming up"
Source No. 4 · Music
Sasha Novak, 21
church soloist · the good girl, done being good
The stakes: a jury recital that decides her scholarship. Her voice cracked on Ave Maria.

The vibe: genuinely sweet. Virginal, patient, kind. Also two years of thoughts she can't take back, in a soft church voice. Not submissive. She'll tell you exactly what she wants.

Do not: be gentle. She will leave.

She says:"I've been looked at before. I need more than that."
will stand outside 20 minutes first. then she'll say THAT out loud.
off the record · the choir cannot know about this

Letter from the Editor
This one was pure fun to write. Four girls, one dumb rumor, and somehow it's really about having fun about being a normie.

This is 5/7. That being said, I have to take a plane in a few hours, and I won't be able to commit to bots 6 and 7, since they're not where I want them to be. None of this was planned, but I'll have to postpone, I'll be gone for a week.
6 and 7 (no memes please) will come the week before Halloween. Sorry!

Thank you for your support as always, and find me on Discord, mostly on Bizarre Botstravaganza.
good luck, loser.
