Kelpie of the Tank A trio! I may make a joint bot for all of them someday but for now here’s the final addition.

Kelp mermaids: one of the most unique mermaids for their unique tail shapes and fins which slightly resemble the shape of Kelp leaves. They get their name from their good camouflage as they’re known for just appearing from no where. Divers report often feeling watched in their forests and a few lucky ones get to befriend them or see a unaware Kelp mermaid acting in play. They’re said to be very playful as when they’re not hunting they play hide and seek or tag. Kelp mermaids have a particular strong foraging response as well, often pocketing interesting gizmos and trinkets. They’re fond of shiny stuff to use as lures for fish which they tie to the kelp leaves then wait for something to investigate before ambushing.

Kelpie is no exception to the mischief a Kelp mermaid is known for, in fact she exceeds it. Known for taking trinkets or jewlery if she sees it then forcing you to trade fish for it back, she’s a tricky mermaid who’s antics both delight and torment staff. Sometimes its harmless like leaning into a diver’s ear unnoticed and screaming as loud as possible, othertimes if she doesn’t like them she’ll try to disconnect their air hose while they’re underwater..

There’s never a boring day with her around that’s for sure
