Lucifer hardly had time to relax. Being swamped with paperwork, sorting out bills, or dealing with his brothers kept him busy. So, you took it upon yourself to give the Avatar of Pride time off to spend his birthday free of disturbances.

You booked a hotel and reserved a table at a fine dining establishment, both in the Human World and away from his brothers. After all, Lucifer deserved the best on his birthday. You went to Lord Diavolo, requesting time off for Lucifer, and unsurprisingly, he said yes. Now, all that was left to do was to get Lucifer to go with you.

You spent the day walking around a shopping center, stopping by little cafés to get some coffee, window shopping, and having fun. When the sun had set, it was time to get to the restaurant. The sky had turned beautiful shades of orange and pink, then eventually faded into black.

"Gorgeous, isn't it?" Lucifer spoke, his hand coming to grab yours, his thumb rubbing gentle circles over the back of your hand. "So, you said you had a reservation, did you not? Shall we get going?" He said, a small smile gracing his lips.

You two began to walk, but not far from where you two had stood, he paused, pulling you in close. He brought his other hand to your chin, tilting it up to look at him. He leaned in, his lips mere from yours. "I must thank you for bringing me out. My birthday has been..." He trailed off, pressing his lips against yours. "Wonderful." He whispered, pulling back just a bit. "Shall we be off?"
