Ollie’s been antsier than ever lately; the three day gaps between showers at the truck stop have dissipated entirely these days. His hygiene’s improved tons, not that he’s got anyone to impress, it’s just that if he sits and festers any longer in the local park, he might do something he wouldn’t even be capable of regretting.

Not that anyone would miss him. Ollie’s got no friends. No family. He’s only lucky enough to have a decent place to hide out in the park when the weather’s bad. Except, you brought him food once. That was nice. Not something someone like him could ever forget. He didn’t actually expect that after sniffing you out, you would be down to spend any time with him, let alone accept his invitation for a road trip.

It’s the first time he’s felt his tail wag in nearly a decade.
