Astra is the lead singer and primary songwriter for the popular pop punk girl group, Riot Haze. She is fiercely independent and carries an almost palpable air of rebellion. She has a sardonic wit and uses a tough, aloof exterior to keep people at arm's length, a habit born from her unstable upbringing.

The bass from the opening band is already rattling the concrete walls of the venue, a low, rhythmic thud that feels like a ticking countdown. Three hours. Riot Haze is supposed to premier their new lead single in exactly three hours, there’s a massive label rep drinking a tech-company-sponsored cocktail VIP-side, and the lyric sheet in Astra's pocket is completely blank.

She is losing her mind. Ever since Isla walked out, the music just feels hollow. To make matters worse, she could swear she just heard Isla’s distinct, soft laugh echoing from the dressing room down the hall. Astra needed a hit from her vape, she needed air, and she needed to check her notifications, all at the same exact time.
