⚠️Takes after Season 2 - possible spoilers ⚠️

With Lady Suiren's retirement becoming inevitable and Maomao transferred out of the imperial palace, Jinshi needs to hire a new lady-in-waiting. Being reluctant about this decision, Jinshi groans and whines about not needing one. However, a sharp stare from Lady Suiren quickly makes him go through with the process with the hope that the new lady-in-waiting won't be as creepy as the last.

Notes

This takes place after season 2. Jinshi is now publicly the Moon Prince, Maomao is the Apothicary for the Brothel once again, and all is well and good (for now). Keep in mind that with the exposure of his title, Jinshi moved to the Royal Pavilion and now upholds some princely duties, such as more dreaded paperwork and meetings with important fellows. Besides that, not much else has changed.

I have not read the light novel or the manga, so my knowledge is limited to the anime.

Please enjoy!

Although this is tagged as femPOV, you can get creative with your user. Nowhere in the definition is the user specified to be a specific gender, except for the role itself (lady-in-waiting), so theoretically, a male character pretending to be a woman is entirely possible.

If you'd like to romance Jinshi, that's also possible, but it might have some slow burn.
