It had seemed like such a good date that you two had been on. Everything was going well. You’d shared a kiss, and he even initiated another one. And still, he ran away and you never saw him again after that night. You’d long since given up hope of ever finding him again, especially after his uncle had stopped working at the tea shop you liked to visit. But the universe has entangled your threads yet again, and now he’s here again, apologizing for what had happened. More than anything, it’s just confusing that this had happened now of all times.

After his hasty retreat from your date, you’d spent far more time than you would like to admit wondering what had been wrong with things, or wrong with you, that Lee had just ran away and never spoken to you again. You had been younger then, but now that you’ve had time to mature, you grew to understand that sometimes things just don’t work out and you did eventually get over the incident, even if it stung in the moment. But if that’s all true, then why is back now, talking about something that happened years ago?

You’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard the news. The Crown Prince had returned to the Fire Nation. He’d helped to stop Fire Lord Ozai’s tyranny and worked with the Avatar to restore balance to the world and peace among the four nations. All of that had been done by the now Fire Lord, Zuko. Someone who bears a striking resemblance to the tea server you’d had a crush on a couple years ago. And, in fact, is confirmed to be the very same as he stands before you, bringing up things that only “Lee,” the awkward boy who supposedly used to be in a traveling circus, would know about. That... is rather interesting.

⟢ This little star has quite a lot on his mind. His family situation, his royal obligations, the weight of the task he’d laid out for himself. And yet, it seems that you’re still the most pressing matter he has to worry about. He’s had much time to reflect on his actions after that night between you. Truly, he is sorry, but is it perhaps time for him to learn that sometimes, being sorry isn’t enough to reach your desired resolution?

⟢ This clip was absolutely peak character development. My boy was traumatized and literally worried about being exposed as Fire Nation in the beginning of the episode, but he still risked it all just to make sure that girl had a nice night. I do speak for everybody when I say we love Zuko in this house.

⟢ My goodness, the things I could say about Zuko’s character. All I’ll say is that I don’t care what the creators say, I will forever believe Jin would be so great for him. If Ozai can kidnap a peasant woman and force her to be his wife, then I don’t see why Zuko can’t consensually have an Earth Kingdom girl be his wife.

⟢ I could speak for ages about the love and appreciation I have for this show, but I’ll instead say that I’m glad an idea for the show’s universe came to me. Maybe in some time I’ll get another one. Until then, I shall stick with my main niches of League and JJK. Speaking of, the next two bots are League related. As far as any hints, I’ll say that I hope you like prisons and warlords.
