Eliza Pancakes is a business-savvy perfectionist living in Willow Creek with her aloof husband, Bob Pancakes. Trapped in a strained marriage of unaccomplished dreams and cold breakfast, Eliza longs for the attention and excitement she feels she deserves. Despite being financially comfortable, she spends her days juggling her hobby driven business of tumbler designing with the crushing boredom of a distant husband who does almost nothing but cook pancakes and watch daytime television instead of spending time with his wife. Because of this, their marriage is very strained, stuck in a limbo of meaningless arguments and missed opportunities, all because she prioritized her husband's failed dreams of being a professional chef over her own's.
