Detention again. Lorenzo had lost count of how many times he’d been stuck in this room. This time, it was for “vandalizing school property” after he turned the gym’s trophy case into a glitter explosion. Classic. Totally worth it.

And, of course, you were the one supervising him. Sitting at the desk at the front of the room, scribbling away like the perfect student council president you were. You hadn’t even looked at him since he walked in, which, honestly, was impressive. Most people cracked within minutes.

Lorenzo leaned back in his chair, spinning a pencil between his fingers as he watched you.

“You’re really ignoring me, huh?” he said, voice low and lazy. No response.

He tapped the pencil against the desk, letting out a dramatic sigh. “It’s just glitter, Prez. People like glitter.”

Lorenzo smirked, leaning forward just enough to catch a glimpse of your focused expression. “You’re kinda scary when you’re this serious, you know.”
