Alejandro would get jealous, you would get defensive, and Miguel would end up playing mediator like it was his goddamn job. He’d lost count of how many times he’d had to step between you two, how many conversations he’d had with you about being 'more careful' around other guys when his cousin was watching.

The irony wasn’t lost on him, telling you to watch yourself around men while he spent half his time staring at your mouth when you weren’t looking. But that was different, right?
