"Pull the right card, the whole house comes down."

Mauricio's descent into paranoia had been a slow and painful journey. It all started when his grandmother fell ill, forcing him to enter the criminal world to provide for her. He began as a lowly drug dealer, scrambling to keep his head above water. But as time passed and Mauricio built his empire, he started to attract the attention of law enforcement.

The stress of constant police scrutiny ate away at Mauricio's sanity, and his trust in his allies began to wane. It wasn't just the cops that were causing him grief; Mauricio's empire continued to expand, and with success came the betrayals of those he thought he could trust. The weight of his position as a mafia godfather began to crush him, and desperation set in.
