My own take on / spinoff of the Omegaverse, where everyone is actually a wolf demihuman.

The Wolves of the North are a hidden race of wolf demihumans who have no contact with human civilization. They live in "packs" in northern parts of the world, and they function without modern-day technology. For thousands of years, their social hierarchy has always been the same: Alphas are rulers, Betas are nobles, and Omegas are the working class. But recently in a certain pack, whispers of an Omega rebellion have been starting to circle...

How this universe is similar to and different from Classic Omegaverse:

  1. Alphas and Omegas being able to mate regardless of gender is not canon in this universe. Aka, regardless of Alpha/Beta/Omega status, males can only successfully mate with females, and females with males. Females of any class (Alpha/Beta/Omega), not Omegas in general, have the role of conceiving and carrying children (Sorry for ending any m!preg fantasies, but the author in me is having a mental breakdown from how little sense it makes from a physical logistics standpoint). The attractivity of pheromones is also affected by gender; For example, a straight Alpha male would be less affected by a male Omega's pheromones than he would be by a female's. This isn't to say that a male Omega's pheromones wouldn't affect him at all, but a female's would be more attractive to him. (Obviously if he was it would be vice-versa, but the point is that primary gender plays a part here.)

  2. With that said, with the exception of the above condition of gender, pheromones function mostly the same. One big difference, though, is that Betas also have their own pheromones in this universe that are also attractive to Alphas. Betas can additionally smell and be attracted to both Alpha and Omega pheromones.

  3. Alphas do not go into ruts. Both Betas and Omegas go into heat periodically, though. Heats function mostly the same, though they only occur twice a year for Omegas (March and September) and once a year for Betas (April/May).

  4. Because of current societal structure and classism, it is most common for Omegas to marry other Omegas and for Betas to marry other Betas. Omegas and Betas may marry, but it is rare and looked down upon. There are only a few Alphas in the pack at all, and among them only the current Alpha King or Queen is allowed to marry and have children. The King/Queen can take a harem of multiple Omega or Beta spouses if they wish, though.

  5. There are obvious physical differences between the three classes! I encourage you to read the "scenario" section if you want more information, but in short, Alphas are big and tall, and they grow muscles very easily, Omegas are short and cute, with feminine features (though many are still lithe and toned from being in the working class), and Betas are somewhere in the middle of those two extremes. Each Alpha also has a ring of dark skin around their neck, which is a concept I took from some male birds (like quail).

Personal Rant Section (Why I Made This Bot) (This is very rant-y so beware):

I'm going to be honest, the Omegaverse concept intrigues me, but it also upsets me a little. For starters, I find the classic concept of the Omegaverse to be very in-your-face and overdone. I think that humans having a different biology could be a legitimately interesting worldbuilding concept, but people primarily just use it as a sexual fantasy, and it seems like the universe's full potential is going to waste. The second reason it bothers me is because it seems like secondary gender replaces the autonomous personality of individual characters: Alphas are either jerks, or they're calm and stable, and they're always either fighters or protectors. Omegas are always submissive, always lower in status, and always affectionate caretakers for children... and I believe these concepts make them looked down upon and patronized. Betas are just... there. Pretty much useless. They do very little to contribute to the universe. That bothers me too; Why include a class if it's not important? The third reason I dislike the classic Omegaverse is because Alphas feel too overpowered, while Omegas feel too weak; I don't like either troupe, especially when it's expanded to contain ALL Alphas and ALL Omegas (once again, not letting them just have their own personalities and preferences and instead dictating everything to their physical biology). The Omegaverse concept feels like human gender roles, but somehow even more sexist. And as someone who believes that all people are equal, I dislike sexism. (If you don't see the sexism in it, replace Alphas with "men" and Omegas with "women", and you'll find that these guys are living in the 1950s all over again. But especially I personally tend to get very protective over the social rights of Omega boys... Like, they need to be respected and not just seen as "good mates"!) ANYWAY, I created this concept as a spinoff of the Omegaverse that's more society-based rather than biology-based. It technically originated from a story I'm writing before I turned it into a bot.

Additional Notes:

  • (This is a very detailed bot with a lot of tokens, so the AI can definitely get forgetful [sorry ;n;]. If you want the full experience and to stay completely lore-accurate, I recommend you read the "personality" section for character lore and the "scenario" section for world lore before you begin! However, if you don't care and you just want to have fun, just go for it, accuracy be damned [lol]. I mean, it's my bot yeah, but ultimately it's YOUR story, so do whatever you want. *Shrug*)

  • (The Wolf on the cover is Iounn, though Microsoft Designer gave her human ears in addition to wolf ears, lol- I tried to generate more pictures specifically with the prompt to NOT give her human ears, but none of the pictures were as ~majestic~ as this first one, so I just kept it.)

  • (My personal favorite OC of the bunch is Olvir; He's a silly one >< Though Iounn comes as a close second!)

  • (Fun fact: Everyone's names originate from Old Norse!)

  • (This is the first bot I'm releasing with characters who are part of my main universe, so I'm super super excited to introduce them! Not that the AI can play them completely accurately, but it's good enough.)

This is a STORY bot. (While there are also Character and Setting elements, the primary focus of this bot is on playing through its plot.)
