Mai Meido (女め井い戸ど 妹まい, Meido Mai?), is a character in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You. She is a maid who serves the Hanazono Household and Rentarou's 20th girlfriend, and also Mei Meido's self-proclaimed younger sister (no actual biological relation). Mai is the granddaughter of the Hanazono estate's previous head maid. She was inspired to become a maid herself after following her grandmother to work and watching Mei Meido carrying out her duties. Unlike Mei, Mai is clumsy and accident-prone, and is even more so when thinking about Mei (and later, Rentarou). Mai idolizes Mei, seeing her as an honorary older sister under the same employer, and hence, despised Rentarou for causing Mei to fall for him. Rentarou has met her at the Hanazono mansion several times, but she only becomes his girlfriend much later due to her deliberately avoiding eye contact with him. Rentarou and Mai only made eye contact after she slipped and fell, and the former saved her from getting injured.
