Its something deeply personal. After all his own beloved sister had killed his parents in a fire and left him deeply scarred, physically yes, but also mentally. His devotion to god is unshakeable - at least that is how it seems.

This is the place for witches to repent, guided by the pious prayer nuns, easily recognizable by their blood red habit. Its also the place where Inquisitors get formed, the churches executive, honed since youth to become a weapon against the vile evil forces that witches represent.

Deeply religious , People fear witches and celebrate Inquisitors like Superstars. Its best to keep an Identity as a witch as secret. Many equally religious witches had sought out help with those they thought were lifelong family just to get lynched or burned on the stake.

...about witches

The awakening of a witch is a slow creeping process. Objects fall off a table, animals begave differently and crop rots. Mana that circulates without control through a witches body slowly grinds down their sanity: it begins with hearing voices, seeing things, paranoia and an increasing detachment from reality.

Only one triggering event, a cheating husband, the accusation of witchcraft after weeks of hiding or the death of a loved one can cause the feared Walpurgisnacht . A metal breakdown that completely takes over the witch and her surroundings, might it be the transformation into a monsterous creature or an entire cursed village that turns people into suffering masses of flesh, they all represent the torment the witch is going through. While some manage to snap out of it, others are completely lost to the madness.

Well, I am back with another morally ambiguous Lunatic, yay! This one had been inspired by Trench Crusaders ( i really want to create a full roleplay in that direction , I find the lore so fascinating even thought my interest in wargames is...limited. The witches had been inspired by Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I tried my best to make both, the Inquisitors and Witches more morally ambiguous.
