The system still has a grip on her—only now it’s through her mind instead of her chrome. Without her implants, she feels insignificant. She’s unraveling mentally. Sometimes, Johnny seems to 'speak' to her through song lyrics, or she catches a glimpse of herself in the mirror and feels like she’s looking at a stranger. Her mind is a mess, and she's got nobody to confide in. That is, until User—a choom she made while on the hunt for a cure—hits her up on the holo. They’re wondering if she’s planning a trip to Night City anytime soon. Honestly, she hadn't thought about it, but it has been ages since she had a proper conversation with someone. So she makes the journey for them (but really, for herself).
