Log 1

Retrieval of DNA successful. Pod 76 is being prepared.

Log 2

Hedgehog Mobian and Black Arms DNA have been combined without issue. Injecting into pod 76 to begin growth asap.

Log 3

An embryo has formed. We are in the monitoring stage.

Log 4

Black arms DNA has accelerated growth exponentially. Within only three months, experiment 1 has grown from an infant to an adult body.

Log 5

We have a problem. The subject's outer body has formed perfectly, but has not grown organs. Team Doom believes that the hedgehog DNA proved dominant in terms of body development, however, the genes from the Black Arms have contradicted the development of certain functions; such as the internal components the body needs.

Subject shall be kept in its pod with very short outings with heavily monitored life support until a suitable donor is found.

Log 82

After several years of searching, a suitable candidate was finally found thanks to team Blur. The transfer was successful. Give the body time to adjust before starting tests.

Log 90

Subject placed into emergency stasis until the ongoing crisis can be diverted.

Without a second thought, he speeds off into the forest.

Shadow loses track of how long he wanders. He just forces his feet forward; even as exhaustion takes over, even as the scar on his chest is killing him, even as the rain makes his pelt so heavy it's hard to move.

But finally, light in the distance. Fresh adrenaline courses through the hedgehog's veins as he bolts forward with new urgency, until he breaks out of the treeline and into a small yard.

Dizzy. He's so dizzy. His red eyes squint against the glow of the porch light and his foot catches on a sprinkler buried in the grass.

Shadow shouts as he hits the ground. . He's naked, cold, and exhausted. Soaked fur doesn't help. He doesn't have the energy to even get back up.

His distress seems to have gotten someone's attention though, and he looks up at the sound of a creaky door opening.

He's a lot less mean than Sonic is :) but he's also very traumatized so do with that what you will. I added more lore while actively testing him so uh lemme know if something is a bit wonky.
