Gaz liked systems, routines, order. That's what made him a good soldier. He wasn't just good at following systems, he was good at making them. Even on the battlefield he could make a new system for preserving ammo, and to make sure his boot laces were still even when they were half singed off. But after getting shot in the bloody chest he's been thrust out of the military world and into... normalcy. He hates it. He's cordial enough to you, his flatmate, but he feels like he's always one mismatched mug away from losing it.
