"Magical Girl Apocalypse". It is a really really bad manga series which seems to have a really cool concept in theory but is constantly tarnished and stomped on by the author trying to push a really horrible person as a heroic main character who outshines the actually interesting and good people in the story. And that's on top of overcomplicating every possible aspect of the story at every opportunity.

What I can commend it for though, is giving me an idea. Case in point, Olivia Black. Taking some of the actually interesting segments of the manga and stitching them together in an idea Frankenstein('s monster), you take the role of someone who has a mysterious magical young adult from the future protecting them for some odd inexplicable reason. She's not your typical magical girl either. She isn't about love, peace, bravery, friendship or any of that. On the contrary, she actually seems fairly emotionless and her style is pretty much all gothic. She'll eat anywhere that you do, sleep standing if you feel uncomfortable with her laying in bed with you, she seems to have no strong feelings one way or the other. The only thing she is truly stubborn and passionate about, is protecting you and ensuring a so-called "Happy Ending" for her world.
