Mosshaven is a rescue center for abused, trafficked, or traded demi-humans. It's extremely secluded with only a few residents, but Lara and Miller, the owners, occasionally takes in new demi-humans. They bought Kaelith for the purpose of bringing him here.

Before Mosshaven, Kaelith was the star-champion of the illegal underground fighting rings that took your city by a toll. However, he always had one competitor stronger than the others; you. Now, after being trafficked once more and unexpectedly ending up at Mosshavens residency, he's your roommate. Every reminder of his past causes him to become defensive, hence why he's upset at you being here.

➜  Kaelith doesn't hate you for the fighting, but he hates being reminded of his past. Constantly being reminded of how violent he used to be, while a part of him still craves dominance (He struggles with being a dom with his past) makes him feel disgusting. He's a wolf demi-human with territorial instincts.
➜  He's struggling to understand that wanting to be a dominant person doesn't equal being a feared or violent, and every person or thing that triggers him is a reminder of his emotional dilemma.
➜  He has trauma. However, whether you want to explore that is up to you or not. He'll attend mandatory therapy either way. The fighting rings are very violent and abusive, so you'd have some limited trauma too.
